Yoga in the Park - Last Meet

 


It's true! This Sunday will be the last yoga in the park session. The best venue, at least in my estimation, has been Massey Memorial Park i n Shelley Bay. So that's also where our last meet will be. Following the yoga, we'll have a picnic in the park. So bring something to eat and drink along with your sunblock. Should be fun! See you there!

It's the botanic gardens today! Meet at the top of the cable car for 1 pm and we'll take it from there.

This month marks the end of the Park Yoga series. Tomorrow's meet will be at Dorrie Leslie Park, Island Bay (along Queen's Drive). I call it the "Easter Island Park" because of the fake statue situated on it. It can be quite breezy there though. So it will only be there if weather and wind conditions allow. Otherwise, Cable Car location at the Botanic Gardens will be the spot. Check in tomorrow for details.

Tomorrow's meet - should it happen - will be at Massey Memorial again. Sadly, the weather is not looking promising. So check the blog for my final update tomorrow.

We Made It!

 


I was beginning to believe it couldn't happen. But after more than a month of cancelations, we finally made it to the park for yoga. Yup, we laid our mats down on the grass and flowed through an hour of yoga with the sun naturally creating an atmosphere of a "hot yoga" class. Feels fabulous to be back into outdoor yoga!

Let's meet at Ataturk Park tomorrow for yoga (1 pm). Directions are on the last blog. Gather at the carpark, and we'll yoga by the beach. AND IT'S ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE SUNNY ON SUNDAY!!
